Natural Villages has varieties of ways for us to return to stress and toxin reduced lifetsyles that ineract with and depend on our natural surroundings.

Natural Villages Mission

To help construct our sustainable future; restore environments and cultures through low impact, low cost and totally natural sustainable community developments… use earth based methods to promote the end of poverty and homelessness. Earthen homes constructed around food production gardens and four season greenhouses. Successful human development model 10,000 years and still being used joyfully in remote places on our planet.

We seek to provide this stable, life affirming option for everyone who senses the value of living in true balance with nature, consciousness and communities of people we love deeply. We seek donations of trashed, damaged or any land base where recovery into its natural life and wild food producing condition can host earth homes as well. Help recover our landscapes and communities with safe, natural, beautiful no cost housing and free food from community shared labor.

Why Natural Villagers Tune To The Sun

Most of us have learned the many names for the sun God: Rah (Egyptian), Vishnu (East Indian), Oxala (Brazilian/Portuguese Indians), Johano – Ai (Dine), Surya (Vedic), there are so many many more, all from the most ancient of cultural languages.

Sun worship to all, not just the East or Indigenous Indians, was much more than what meets surface inspection. Many dare to say that Jesus was referring to himself as the SUN of God, since many many of the oldest shramanic (sanscrit) or shamanic teachings had everything to do with cultivation of solar force, transformation and shape shifting into/using light, resurrection from the dead, becoming tuned clairvoyantly to other beings, with love/compassion consciousness always at the core.

Lord Shiva to the Vedic and Hindu cultures literally is understood to be the “consiousness of love” which is seated within the electron! This would explain the understanding of “god being aware and within everything” all religions remind us of.

Our earth is also known as Mother to many more than just our indigenous cultures.

The wild, ancient couple who sing our life into us…according to the Mayans, and so many other indigenous beginning stories: this is our earth Mother, and solar Father, who shine and grow so we can learn how not to think negative, dark thoughts…but learn to cultivate light, loving bright thoughts in order to manifest this now  for ourselves. Solar Father and Earth Mother gave birth to love, so we could grow more love into our universal system. Most folks aren’t taking all this very seriously, though. It is very important to note that these cultures did not host populations of the mentally ill.

Very important information. How to understand how to use this Solar father and Earth mother to help us feel happy so we can choose love instead of stress or tension, depression or anxiety about our finances. We have already been given earths body to use to build homes for free that are beautiful. We know how to grow production food gardens to feed ourselves, lets think a bit more practically, and immediately about how to shape shift our sustainability for real!

This, is the reason all village cultures lived using spiritual principles, such as the Lakota people who say: to speak Lakota fluently, you must first understand how to live love, inherently… Surya Yogi’s know how to use the solar force to make magnetic shields that repel rocks, glass, hard thrown objects…

This, we learn how to do, by studying the selfless service of our Earth Mother, and Solar Father. Who are conscious beings. These beings we need to greet joyfully every morning like the California Ohlone people with a jump and shout! WE should hail our spiritual parents with GRATEFULNESS AND LOVE!!! When we forget about our Mother and Father, they become out of balance in their hearts, missing their children. Everyone knows this!

The ancient Himalayan yogis gave the science of the action of the solar love breath to their people to help them remain pure, and in a condition of constant loving compassion. WE do not begin to lose our compassionate nature until we come into contact with the matter realm, this physical play of light that takes matter into form by shaping it with the condensing, contracting energies of tension, and stress. To literally squeeze us into these shapes that are sung together with the sounds and thoughts and words of our lives on earth. Our vibrations. Our memories of ourselves, sung into a specific vibration pattern between worlds and incarnations so we can re-member our job to grow love during our exciting roller coaster ride inside forgetfulness so we can play a game with our “selves” , called “realizing” or “enlightening” ourselves into natural, pure love!

This science spread from the Himalayas of India from Shiva Goraknath Babaji, to Padmasambhava who took it into Tibet to found Buddhism. From Tibet, it went across and down into Asia. The Kings of the Solar Dynasties all emerged from the lineage information of Lord Shiva Goraknath Babaji, compassionate protector of innocent, giving cows, or Avelokteswara to the Budhists. Even the Muslim saint Mohammed is on written record (in monestary temples high in the Himalaya) as having studied with the greatness of this Himalayan ever living consciousness that many claim still lives without death.

At natural Villages we use all of these sacred knowleges. We teach people how to use the love in their hearts, to infuse prana or life force into their breath, and to breath this as a prayer inside the spine, generating heat for natural love prana or life force to heal and encourage the plants to grow happier, since our environments have become so very tired and dried out from abuse and chemical exposures. We teach folks to then generate this prana or love breath, and to especially do this while using the hands and feet to mix earth into a mud mix for a rock solid wall for a cabin. No and low cost full use cabins are handy to know how to build.

This activity returns the villager to a sense of awe about the gifts this earth gives us so we can live in conditions of happiness, free from the stress and tension of joyless cultures of overwork, overconsumption of unnecessary “stuff” and over dependence on the delivery systems for food and products for lives that can easily be comfortable, natural and far less stressful than what is currently being experienced by most of us.

To this end, people can join with us. Explore our website at www.natural-villages.org. Register for a class, Fridays we are on the mountain in Little Basin teaching Kiln, Oven and wall building. Wednsdays we are in Felton, from 3 to 5 pm teaching the Surya shields or Kavatch of protection, and the transformation into light using the lightening path kriyas given through the great Mahavatar Babaji to his representatives of the Himalyan Yogic training systems being expanded in the west by his fully authorized lineage Master Yogiraj Siddhanath. Yogiraj is building an Acharya or teaching system to deliver this profundity of transformation into light knowledge for every human wanting to become the pure ever loving light of compassionate thought. These instructions have been with us for as long as the English language has guided Americans. EVOL- UTION. Love, moving forward from now, to now.   Natural Villages : 831-425-3393.

Martin Prechtel:

“We live in a kind of dark age, craftily lit with synthetic light, so that no
one can tell how dark it has really gotten. But our exiled spirits can tell.
Deep in our bones resides an ancient, singing couple who just won’t give up
making their beautiful, wild noise. The world won’t end if we can find them.”

While Hummingbirds Gather

Waiting as we grope,

We reach, palms open to you

Finding Our Light

We are here, oh Mother who never looked away…

Deep in the belly of your laugh

We find you still remembering

From the kilns of our ancient arts

We forever cast our searching eyes

Into the past to see presence

A way through

To this, our healthiest culture

The years lean like a shifting pillar of stone

Shadows of its fall lengthen in our days

Our childrens future, catching breath as the dark stretches

Who is this singing new dawn voice?

How do we make this shift of truth?

From the empty pit of the vast waste our fields of homes represent

Toxic fumes of new carpets, a football field clear cut for one more house

And yet

And yet

And yet

The easiest, simple

Is the most unknown

Fear, too

As always we forget her…

this “we have always known how” memory

stretching with us

into this shadow of how

the transition of those who

understand this need of

NOW…

here we sit

the shaken within this belly

laughing at ourselves, but not really

from within this house

yes, this one…

and now

do we wait until dawn?

Or venture out to see just how dark

Now returns us to…

And yet I hear them singing…

The ancient ones carefully placing words of you

Words and singing

New songs for stronger, smarter children

New songs for farther casting light

New forms

To recognize those ancient singers…

How to find the new emergent good

Before this dark of old curtain falls

And smothers the light bright in expectant

Reconstructionists

who are working with

Incomplete information

Where,

Where

I hear them, singing…

New forms, new songs

New light with new colors

Nature

She

Nature, our nature, our mother, our song

Sun, warm glowing fathers love

Conscious of we children pulled, pushed

From the matters of this hearts orgasm

Ancient old couple

Bones vibrate the marrow

As the quiver of new dawn moves within

The rising of this new breath

End to the shadow

We are born

   to

SING

SING

SING

And let us watch

your old

Bones

Dance

Under

Sun

And

Moon

If you would like hands on experience, one can apply to attend a summer sustainability camp, because campers work in communities that are forming villages, to obtain building experience and alternative cultural exposure. Network through this site as part of this process. We especially promote purchase of land that has been damaged or made toxic, to be cleaned up for village development. To make these options a reality, we simply ask that you support us in the way that feels most comfortable to you. We also believe in the value of the natural neighborhood, the place where folks discover what sorts of foods they can grow in the size of their available space, to determine comfort foods, and minimal staple diets folks can collectively agree to grow.

You can find guidance for this on our Earn page. Our goal is to have stand by teams to help install these gardens and continuous harvest greenhouse systems.

We also suggest people commit to every upgrade on their property to be eco-freindly, while adding organic food production systems into their broader surrounding areas. This service to our global community cannot be adequately measured. Thank you for caring enough to participate! Thanks for understanding that microbial life, the mushroom kingdom, these little guys can absorb toxic chemicals in our soils and in chemical run off areas…so…plant or spread spores and  microbes, mycellium, specifically, and other mushrooms.

Perpetual Harvest Greenhouse System
One Approach to Conscious Sustainable Living

The Perpetual Harvest Greenhouse System (PHGS) combines recent innovations in greenhouse design
into a single integrated design capable of year-round food production. The PHGS creates 365 ideal growing days per year by optimizing light, carbon dioxide enrichment, and soluble nutrient levels in conjunction with continuous planting and harvesting.

PHGS accomplishes profitable year round production by optimizing two primary features of greenhouse operation – Growing techniques and Energy management. This system integrates the latest innovations in greenhouse design and operation with emerging understanding of growing techniques to achieve production levels not possible in an outdoor system, or in a three-season greenhouse. Because this system can operate
for four seasons, its  overall profitability is estimated to be 6-8 times that of the conventional three-season greenhouse or of outdoor plantings because the system can provide organic produce when other systems cannot.

The uniqueness of the PHGS lies not in any one feature, but instead in the integration of many innovative
aspects of greenhouse design and operation. All the features utilized in the PHGS have been successfully applied in existing greenhouse systems; however, research indicates that no single publicized greenhouse system currently in operation utilizes the combination of features integrated into the Perpetual Harvest system.

Furthermore, integration of the Perpetual Harvest system with renewable energy production systems such as
a bio-diesel plant, ethanol still, methane bio-digester, and/or co-generation unit will improve energy efficiency and drive down operating costs while producing marketable by-products. The sponsors of the PHGS are presently exploring building a Community Supported Energy Cooperative based on the model provided by Dave Blume in his book, Alcohol Can Be A Gas, Fueling An Ethanol Revolution for the 21st Century. The ethanol plant would be designed to power the Perpetual Harvest Greenhouse.

It is envisioned that this system can be duplicated and thus marketed in many geographic areas, particularly temperate northern climates. The system is especially applicable to urban and suburban settings.

WHY : The Natural Villages community would like everyone to remember that our weather has already begun changing, our economic conditions are not completely stable in today’s world culture, and localized self sustainability is the only authentic response to our current global crisis conditions. In honor of our indigenous forerunners, and their current day descendants, we want to remind each one of us that a TRULY healthy human community is one where the people work hard to think ONLY good thoughts about themselves, and each other! This leads to expanding our capacity for love, the most basic element required for human evolution.

I’m writing from Montana where we have very similar conditions to Pine Ridge. Lots of folks have been trying lots of ways to deal with our crisis housing situation within the Apsaalooke Nation. A couple of strawbale buildings were completed and appreciated, but local acceptence and enthusiasm for “different” homes has not been overwhelming. It has also taken a long time. My questions are: how long has your project been in progress, how many families are currently living in homes you helped create, and how are the occupants and extended families liking their new housing? I am hoping to learn shortcuts to success through your experiences which we can borrow for use here in Montana.
    In Solidarity, Jim

    Hi Jim;

we have been slowly developing for about five years, while working on our model house project, in Wounded Knee. We learned that a system to roll the homes out for others who can get paid while doing it seems to be the only way to go, since so many cannot get gas money, food money, et all while building without being paid…

Cob house residents love cob houses…there are many in our nation…on pine ridge some combination homes of mostly straw bale look hopeful, but no one else is working towards a big roll out. Our approach is the ONLY affordable way to go given current conditions and the weather on its way…so we figure if you build it, they will come. Coordination of materials and labor is the most efficient approach for a community build out.

We have a house half finished on Pine ridge due to family crisis causing inability to support the process, so we will be putting up another this summer to show the community how it can be done more smoothely with enough hands and materials already lined up…then we will work to provide the extra hands and, with luck, some pay for those ready to continue.

Our non profit programs were developed while working on Pine Ridge building and discovering what the members of this community will need in order to have the supports necessary to help build many homes for many families…sustainable village style…now we will begin the process of using what we know…hopefully by next year I can answer more fully on the LAKOTA families in the homes liking them question.

locally …since the big Santa Cruz area fires; we are beginning to build showcase sheds…mini houses that require no permits, but can sleep and provide a kitchen for those in dire need…these can be built in just a week or so. We feel this will call a lot of attention to the low cost and ease of this method.
