From left: Johanna Parry Cougar with her husband, Michael Cougar.
Photo taken near Omkarnath Temple, Himalayas, India.
Mike is our PhD. (psychology), JD, legal council.
Michael is retained for obvious purposes including financial review and documentation and development of processes and contracts between communities and builders.
Johanna is our Executive Director. Johanna has been working with leaders of the Earth/Cob and natural building movement and with people in native nations for more than two decades. Johanna has served as a non profit director and environmental/community protection organizer for decades using non profit models/economic communities to accomplish these goals. The organization’s Johanna has helped build and handed off into their communities include: the Redwood Coast Writers Center, Democracy Unlimited Of Humboldt County and People For Healthy Forests (who are responsible for the nation wide stop to Hexazanone spraying over national forest lands). She also worked for many years in the Mental Health field designing programs for autistic and mentally/emotionally challenged children of all ages.
Steve Travis with his wife, Joan Donato:
Steve is an Architect, engineer and highly respected board member. Steve helps us with design decisions,
materials choices, making tailored plans for family homes. Steve brings an amazing knowledge of earth based
and natural force designs, styles and connected energy saving systems. www.http://steventravis.wordpress.com/

Corrina McFarlane: A core member of WomenRise For Global Peace, a weaver of majic and mystery.
Corrina holds space in native nations, crosses continents for ceremony, and shows up unexpectedly whenever
she is really needed. Her wisdom, support and hard work remain invaluable for founding and continuing this work.
As a treasure, she serves as treasurer and financial coordinator to Natural Villages. Corrina’s site is www.timetoshine.com
Elmer Bear Eagle: is a board member and advisor to the Wounded Knee Building Camp program.
Elmer provides community support while we are in his nation. Noticing the size of our trees, Elmer likes the
plains just fine but wants his nation to know that our building programs will sponsor their learning. This is a
great opportunity for the kids.
Roy Kaylor; Roy is an electrical engineer and holds an honorary PhD in engineering from Eurotechnical Reasearch Institute. He attended West Point and Stanford, getting an MS in physical science. He has created breakthrus in solar generated electricity that caused the electric car industry to begin. On his land sits the very showcar, the electric beauty that Roy built and drove in a national science parade with then Governor Jerry Brown. He is known for his switch system technology that was used in the Prius, by Toyota, and sound system technology currently used by Dolby. A designer of power supplies and switch systems, the Voyager space craft currently uses some of Roys invented technology. He designed power supplies that a soldier could repair under rapid fire with a quater and a bullet. Roy is a board member, and owns the local Little Basin Natural Villages day use education properties outright. Roy has also made a rare, unreviewed proving of cold fusion, and can teach this as well as provide proving kits if anyone has an interest. He also provides electric car conversion kits for VW’s.
We are currently seeking a skilled biographer to write Roys Autobiography: The hidden history of electric and solar power in America.
Sally Walsh, MA: Sally has been doing conflict resolution within the prison system and the family services systems
for decades. She is invaluable in offering and supporting communication, solutions and strategies. Without Sally, we
would be truly wondering, and perhaps even get lost out there…Thanks Sally, we love you! She is an advisor to our board.
Dianne Seymour is an amazing Yurock Storyteller and gourmet Acorn preparation chef. She works like a horse, talks like a sage and keeps us all on our toes or holding our guts, bent over in laughter. Thank you, Dianne for joining our board, our team, our village. Without Dianne’s loving concern, genuine heart, careing eye, and quiet, knowing, helpful support we definately would not have gotten as far as we are today. We are humbled by her courage, and we envy her woodsmanship, wildcrafting and culture…
